I know that mom wants a gigantic framed print above her fire place. One sister is preserving her memories my favorite way, an album! Most people think they just want their digitals, however I am lucky and have a lot of clients who know the value of printing their images. Many of my clients like my thick beautiful Signature albums. Sage Creek High school Senior Photographer
Third time was the charm for this Sage Creek High School senior and I was was the lucky photographer! Good old Covid 19 had us reschedule a few times. One of the things I really enjoy about my job is talking to young people and getting to know them. Jonah was an absolute pleasure to photograph. He has style, is kind and has a great sense of humor. Two years ago I photographed his Sage Creek High School senior brother. I love that Jonah likes clean lines and cares about his wardrobe. I have had my eye on some unique locations throughout Carlsbad and we were able to hit several of them! Enjoy! All photos were taken in Carlsbad by Renee Hindman. She is now booking Class of 2021. ... Read More about Sage Creek High school Senior Photographer
How to take better camping photos of your kids
I have been a photographer in San Diego for almost 17 years and have exhausted most local backdrops with my own children. I love taking portraits of my girls when I travel and camp because they end up being the most unique. The scenery is new, beautiful and interesting when you get out of your normal routine. Throughout my adventures, I have learned a lot about how to take better camping photos of your kids and I would like to share them with you. Our family loves to camp! It is one of our favorite activities to do. It is such a wonderful thing to unplug and enjoy nature. Incidentally, at Hume Lake campground, there is no cellular service so there is no choice but to be present. My children have been camping since they were babies and they are used to being a little dirty and outdoors (2 qualities that I think help make you a little more well rounded). Take the portraits early in your trip. Procrastination leads to tired and uncooperative kids and can result in no portrait photos of your kids camping. 2. Let your children bring friends camping with them. It is more fun for everyone. Children entertain themselves and enjoy having a friend included in their special family camping trip. It is a win-win. It is ... Read More about How to take better camping photos of your kids

I am going to give you some tips- How to photograph your children while you travel. With a little forethought, it is easier than you think! I will share a few tips that I have learned along the way. Before I had kids and became a San Diego child and family photographer, I was a first grade teacher and a world traveler. I traveled to India, Europe and Africa and South America. I would pretty much go anywhere and do anything. Which included a rope swing over the Zambezi gorge, in Victoria Falls, Africa (still the craziest thing I have done to this date). Once I had kids I was determined to keep the adventure alive. If you have followed me for any length of time you know that my family is very adventurous. We are off the grid a LOT! Being outside and away from it all is honestly how I recharge myself and feel happiest! We began traveling with our kids at a very young age. I took Cory to Chad Africa when she was 16 months old! One of the highlights was seeing her in a carseat on Safari. (Tip #1 Always carry your camera. Don't rely on your phone. Phone quality is not as good and you can't ...
