Carlsbad Family Beach Photographer Sweet little Ana came all the way to Carlsbad from Michigan. Not only to have beach photographs taken, but for a trip of a lifetime! About a year ago Ana was hit by a car and life-flighted to the nearest hospital. Ana suffered from traumatic brain injury among other complications. All things considered, Ana made a full recovery. Her family came to Carlsbad to celebrate Ana and her accomplishments. The love felt for sweet little Ana during her shoot was something I will never forget. The moments were so tender and you could tell mom was soaking in every moment. Truly grateful for her daughter's recovery and a second chance, it was gentle reminder how fragile life really is. Here is a family who will never take anything for granted again. The Hill family was on the most ambitious week of California sightseeing that you can imagine- Los Angeles, Carlsbad, Disneyland, Universal Studios, and San Francisco. I was tired just hearing about their itinerary. To top it off, mom started nursing school the very next day she returned from vacation. Thank you so much for visiting Carlsbad and I hope your family loves the beach photography. I loved meeting your wonderful little family! ... Read More about Carlsbad Family Beach Photographer | Ana
Sage Creek High School Senior Portraits | Ethan
Sage Creek High School senior portraits of Ethan as he is literally on his way out the door to college. It is never to early or late to plan your high school senior portraits. Ethan had the best attitude as we ventured though Carlsbad to take his photographs at multiple locations. Taking time to capture classic photos as well images that showcase who you really are is important to me as a mother. Choices are important. We joked a lot as he educated me on what it is like to have a high school student. My daughter just started high school yesterday. I never thought this day would come just like Ethan's mom probably thought the day would never come for high school graduation. I enjoyed getting to know you Ethan! You will do great things in the world and I have no doubt about that. All photographs were taken by Renee Hindman in Carlsbad, CA. She is currently booking senior sessions for the 2018 and 2019 school year. It is never too late or too early to preserve your memories forever. ... San Diego Baby Photography | Aliyah
San Diego baby photography of sweet baby Aliyah. Her mom and I went to high school together and it has been a joy having her back in my life. I have such fond high school memories of Janelle and her laugh is still the same! Janelle was the whole reason I even tried out to be the high school mascot! Yes, I was the Valencia Tiger my senior year. An experience I am still grateful for. Thank you Janelle! One of my favorite ages to photograph a baby is 6 to 9 months old. At this age babies are sitting up and not moving. They are curious and content making wonderful angles to photograph. As mother you want to soak up every move and look your baby makes. I love to photograph all the "in between" moments as baby is adventuring outdoors. In return baby photography becomes all those sweet and tender moments that you witness at all hours of the day and night. Their sweet faces are captured and stand still, forever! As my children grow older I find myself looking back at the stages of their lives and I am thankful that I have these images, books and photographs on my wall. Because let's be honest teens are no joke and I would take the toddler and baby drama any day. I am especially thankful for the baby photography that I have of my ... Carlsbad family photographer | Today
I met up with the Davidson family in one of my favorite fields to capture their lives just as they are today... Rylee is a twelve year old sweet as pie gal who loves sports. My daughter plays softball with Rylee and she is just one of those kids you want your kids around. Good. I met sweet Levi while Mom was pregnant at the ball fields. Our families have spent many hours in the stands together. To have a cute baby to hold and smile with during those early morning, long days of softball makes the softball life even better. He's a happy little dude with an infectious smile. You just want to snuggle him and smile. About a month ago Angela was folding laundry on a Saturday when she started to have seizures. The next day she found out she had brain cancer. About four days later she was in brain surgery to remove a large tumor. When I heard of the news, I knew I wanted to help. I messaged Angela and explained that I am a terrible cook and her family would not appreciate a meal that I make (Well, maybe the kids. I make a mean quesadilla). I wanted to take these portraits of her family in Carlsbad. These images were taken two weeks after surgery and I am just blown away at how well Angela is doing. She has a fantastic attitude and ... What are you waiting for? | San Diego Child photographer
My girls will always be young and playful in my mind. I seem to have cataloged them in my brain at a certain age because sometimes I have a difficult time with them getting older. These were taken for a college course I took last year to learn new software. I was pushed to get outside and photograph for fun. Just because I am a San Diego Child photographer, that does not mean I am ALWAYs taking photos of my girls. I try to take my "real camera" out for at least each child's sport one time per season, vacations, one ski day, etc. I can sometimes lag on taking traditional portraits or creative ones as they can be time consuming and a lot of work. And just because mom is a child portrait photographer in San Diego does not mean I am going to get cooperation. I have had these outfits for over a year before I actually executed. And you know what? EVERY time I am done, I think to myself. "Why did I wait so long?" Children truly grow and change so fast. So I ask you this, are you waiting too long to get portraits of your children and family? I meet a lot of people that tell me they love my work and "one day" they are going to hire me. I encourage you not to wait so long. No one has ever said to me, "I wish I never took pictures of my ... Simpson Family | San Diego Family Beach Photographer
Every year the Simpson family and I team up to take their annual family photos in a San Diego or surrounding location. We have done some pretty fun and creative shoots. We have rented a vintage trailer, truck, amusement parks, fields and now the beach! We have exhausted so many San Diego photographer locations, we traveled north a bit to find this little gem. It was fun to be the Simpson's San Diego family beach photographer. I love how the Simpson family takes careful consideration of clothing to match the surrounding location. It is such an important detail that is often overlooked. I have an arsenal of websites and clothing store recommendations that I am happy to share with my clients. I also have racks of designer clothing in my garage that I am happy to share as well. Each family photo shoot results in the most beautiful of Christmas cards, prints for their home and a coffee table album. This family now has a library of albums in their family room. Most people want their digital files so they can print themselves. But how many people actually do this? All images were taken by San Diego Beach photographer, Renee Hindman ...
